Unfortunately, we jumped the gun a bit. Beth will be staying in the hospital longer than previously thought. There is fluid buildup in her abdomen that is causing some discomfort and some breathing issues. The buildup is significant enough that the kids asked if mommy was pregnant. The doctors reassured her that this is normal considering the trauma her body has been through. Her goals for today are to keep the pain under control, go for 4 walks, and eat something. Everyone keep those positive thoughts coming.

I am a friend of Billy Merkovsky, and his mom Kathy who told me about Beth. I've been praying for your family and am so glad you had great news. I'll keep praying too!
Oh yea! really. Know that everyone will be so glad you're home. You have so much support and love - hugs, hugs, and more hugs. I'm blessing you, Steve, and family every moment of the day.
Hey Beth! I am not suprised that you are going home so soon. You are a determined woman! I hope that you know how many people are out here pulling for you. We talk of you constantly and I always remind everyone to keep you in their prayers. I am looking forward to our "girls" night out!

Whooo Hooo! All I can say is wonderful, wonderful and more wonderful news. Home-is where you belong. Your home and loved ones(especially the 3 little angels) is where you are going to continue to do well until this whole ordeal is behind you. God continue to bless you and family.

Hi Beth and Mike
I am so excited to hear you are going home. This is proof that God does indeed answer prayers. And I know He was in that operating room guiding those doctors. Mike please don't apologize for not writing on the blog, we are all so thankful to you and helping with the children is much more important. You and Keira are such a blessing for all you do. Beth I hope you have a relaxing day, and get all the rest you can now that you are going home. It will not be easy as I can just imagine how excited the children will be. We love you.
Hi Beth,
Everyone wants you home, but God has a plan and it won't be too early or too late. His plan is always perfect. Keep your eyes on Jesus because He loves you very much and so do we.
Dear Beth,
Aunt Kathy is right! Do what your docs say is best for you. It's better to go home when everything is A-OK! Love you and we are seeing you well and at home soon. We love you!
That's ok Beth, you should be in the hospital until you are really ready and these kinds of things won't crop up. Cause it is probably known, that once you get home and feel a little better, you may just start doing things that would not be in your best interest. And, the fact that you don't want to go home and perhaps go back to hosp. None of this back and forth stuff! When you get home, it will be to stay. We will continue to have our thoughts and prayers directed your way.
