Time with Dad

Steven couldn't stop staring at the kids.  They colored pictures for him.

This photo of Kylie and her dad speaks for itself

Steve and Jane

Steve and Ryan

A wonderful person donated his time and talent to produce lifesize cutouts of the kids for Steve.  How do you ever say thank you for a gift like this?
Jane and her cutout twin

Can you guess which one is the real Ryan?

Kylie and her cutout buddy who's just as beautiful as the real thing.

Steve, his sister Chris, and Robin, his mom

Here's one with Andrew

The kids loved their visit with Daddy

I can't imagine how much healing power seeing those beautiful kids has on Steve. Having to be apart from them must be one of the hardest things to handle for both of you. The kids obviously needed to see their dad too. It really seems like things are looking up, seeing Steve in the pictures is very reassuring- thank you so much for sharing them.

Beth,

Know that your Blog is being read by so many who are sending love and prayers for not only Steve, but you and your beautiful children as well. I'm so glad they had the chance to spend time with their Dad.

Isn't it amazing how the presence of children always seem to lighten the mood...I love that! Beth, you made the right choice to bring the kids into to see their Daddy. The pictures are priceless and it was theraputic for us "posters" to see all of you, especially Steven. Keep doing exactly what you're doing, it's working. We miss you and love you and will continue our prayers of strength and healing. XXXXXXXOOOOOOO

I am an LAPD officer and have never met you or Steve, but your blog makes me feel like I've known you for years. Thank you so much for sharing your family's journey and allowing us to know how Steve is doing. It truly means so much to me and the rest of the LAPD. When things like this happen, us officers want and feel the need to help in any way we can. Sometimes, there is nothing we can do but send you our prayers and encouragement, but we don't know how to or where to send them.
This blog makes me feel like even though I am only sending you this post, I am doing something to remind you that every moment of every day, someone has you, Steve, and your family in their thoughts. Your posts make me laugh and cry!!! Thank You! Love, a member of your LAPD family
