Update
I just heard from the O.R. nurse who said that the surgery is going well. They are waiting for an xray and Steve should be out of surgery in 20 - 30 minutes.

hi beth...i just now had time to catch up on your posts since the surgery. my first thought was how awful i feel because as i go about my life (like the people at trader joes) you are all immobilized by this awful event. when people refer to others as fighting for their lives, we tend to take that too lightly. i pray that things will improve and that you will see good progress soon. joyce
